Terms of service

These terms describe the DeployKit software offering and the separate process for professional services. Operator: to be confirmed before launch.

Digital software

Digital software, CLI tools, and repository access are sold and fulfilled by Polar Software, Inc., acting as Merchant of Record. The seller and applicable purchase terms are identified in the Polar checkout and receipt. Your download, license, and eligible access benefits are delivered through Polar.

Starter and Pro access

Starter is a one-time purchase granting continued use of the downloaded kit and access to 1.x releases. Pro provides access to new kit releases, the private repository, and community benefits while the subscription is active. Cancellation takes effect according to the billing period shown in your customer portal.

Ending a subscription removes future access benefits. It does not switch off services already installed on your infrastructure. The kit is licensed for your own infrastructure and client projects; redistribution or resale of the kit itself is not permitted.

Your server and third-party software

You control your server and are responsible for domains, credentials, backups, application data, and testing changes before using them in production. Review scripts before running privileged operations. Supported platform: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on x86_64.

Docker images and third-party components retain their own licenses and terms. DeployKit supplies configuration and operating tools, not ownership of those components. Hosting costs and third-party paid features are separate.

Professional services

Custom server administration, audits, and bespoke development are contracted independently and invoiced through the Juuli entity identified in the agreed quote and invoice. A service request is a request for a quote, not an order or payment. Scope, timing, access arrangements, and cancellation terms are agreed separately before work starts.

Optional telemetry

Telemetry is an opt-in sandbox preview in this release. It collects CPU, memory, and disk measurements from enrolled installations. There are no live metered charges. Any future paid telemetry offering will require separate published pricing and explicit activation.

Refunds and subscription management

See our refund policy. Subscription management and payment details are available through Polar's customer portal. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are unaffected by these terms.

Support and changes

Documentation is included with the kit. Contact the operator using the support details published with your purchase. Material changes to the offering will be described in release notes or purchase terms before they apply.
